Wine Food Pairing for the Super Bowl!
The annual party in our neighborhood is held across the street at our friends Joanna and Jim's house...they set up four televisions around the house and everyone picked there favorite spot. We chose riverside because of the wonderful breeze....after all this is Florida!
Excitement was running a bit high because our hosts are actually from NY and the "home" crowd was rooting for the Giants. What could be better than to serve a Pinot Noir from the NY Finger Lakes region? It complimented the yummy sausage and pepper stuffed pastries that "Tuba" had whipped up and the variety of other treats that lined the buffet.
Needless to say, the Super Bowl party was a rousing success! The game kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end and the only thing that could have made the evening better would be if we had won the football pool! GO GIANTS!
